The tenth disc ADDS & EDITS from CONTEMPORARY WORKS I was also released as a promotional CD in a cardboard sleeve called ESSENTIAL EXTRACTS (2000), also referred to as ADDS 'N' EDITS.

While all tracks on CD 10 of CONTEMPORARY WORKS I are crossfaded, they are not on the promo ESSENTIAL EXTRACTS, Therefore the tracks are slightly longer on the promo.

Global Medication is in fact a short version of Global Midication from CD 3 of the box set TRANCE 4 MOTION, which is labeled as Wahnfried album.

Global Medication was first planned to be the first track on an album called "Alien Affairs", also featuring Local Scanning and Friendship, but in the end all tracks were used otherwise.

Drums 'N' Balls from the namesake Wahnfried album shares the same rhythm as Global Medication, but lacking the singing.
