Notes

Working title for this album was MIDI KLASSIK, but the record company used GOES CLASSIC. The 2012 vinyl reissue used the MIDI KLASSIK title though.

Lautenquintett is featured as a Klaus Schulze composition, though it is losely based on the classical pieces "Der Hummelflug/Fly of the Bumble Bee" (Rimsky-Korssakoff), "Der Karneval der Tiere/The Carnival of the Animals" (Saint-Saens), "Forellenquintett/The Trout" (Schubert) and "Le Coucou/The Cookoo" (Daquin).

The title of Ungarische Tänze, Nr. 2 is wrong, it is in fact Brahms' "Hungarian Dance no. 5".

Schulze also played Ravel's "Bolero", but deleted it for he did not like it. Another recording "Suite No. 3: Air" (Bach) was released on JUBILEE EDITION (1997). Pieces from Bartok ("Mikrokosmos") and de Falla ("Fire Dance") were also recorded but not released.

The original cover design is by ZYX Records, the reissue MIDI KLASSIK has a photo from kdm as cover.

GOES CLASSIC is among the few Schulze albums, not reissued by REVISTED RECORDS due to copyrights.
