APHRICA is an album by Klaus Schulze, Rainer Bloss & Ernst Fuchs. It was released in 1984, but withdrawn later that year. The title is probably a word play on "Aphrodite" and "Africa".

  1. Aphrodite (19:40)
  2. Brothers And Sisters (12:20)
  3. Africa (06:50)

Recording date(s): September 1983

Recording site(s): Hambühren

Musician(s): Klaus Schulze, Rainer Bloss & Ernst Fuchs

The album was withdrawn in 1984, due to the label Inteam having "forgotten" to make a contract with Ernst Fuchs. Later Klaus Schulze said that it was an awful album, and that Ernst Fuchs tried to be serious, but that he was only involuntarily funny.

A Berlin-based magazine reviewed the album: "(...) due to their grandiloquent dimwittedness, the lyrics provoke only tormented laughter."

Some illegal CD reissues from South Korea have a different track order, even though they are listed in the correct order on the album.

  1. Brothers And Sisters
  2. Africa
  3. Aphrodite
